1tbReduced calorie margarine; +
1tsReduced calorie margarine
2smSweet apples;peeled,chopped
1/2cOnions; chopped
1lbVery lean ground beef;
2tsCurry powder;
1/8tsGarlic powder;
  Salt and pepper to taste;
2 Egg whites;
3/4ozWheat germ;
3/4cTomato sauce;

Preheat oven to 350. Cook onion and apple in margarine until onion is lightly browned, about 15 minutes. Combine with remaining ingredients EXCEPT 1/2 cup of the tomato sauce, shape into a loaf and place on a rack in a shallow baking pan. Top with remaining tomato sauce. Bake, uncovered, 1 hour.

Per serving: 24g protein, 18g fat, 16g carb., 405mg sodium, 70mg chol., 317 calories.
